HALCO DISTRIBUTION Halco distribution include the following countries: South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania, Angola… HALCO COMPANY HISTORY Halco company began business in 1950 when Hal Cooper, an engineer by profession, started making metal lures and fishing rigs in a small premises in Mosman Park Western Australia. The Patrick family purchased the company in 1980 and began a program of innovation and expansion that has taken Halco into the manufacture of a vast range of plastic and wooden lures. |

HALCO COMPANY TODAY The Halco tackle company now export their quality product to over 70 countries with there second factory now up and running. Ben and Neil Patrick have spent countless hours in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland waters putting the lure range through a program of development and refinement. They even submit their lures to testing regimes overseas and recent tests have been carried out in Malaysia, Egypt, The Canary Islands, The Czech Republic and Russia to name a few. HALCO ACHIEVEMENTS Halco tackle company was placed third for all IGFA saltwater world records captured on lures for 2004. Halco also won the coveted award by IGFA for the lure company with the most world records in 2006 in fresh water! HALCO GOAL The development of new and exciting lures is a major priority and there are a significant number of products either planned or in the prototype stages. |
